Pascal Walter
Pascal Walter graduated in textile design and is a renowned expert in the design and development of high-quality fabrics, wallpapers, carpets and home accessories with more than 20 years of professional experience.
He studied in Hamburg at the well-known Hochschule für bildende Künste 1998-2004 under Anne Marr, who is now Programme Director at Central Saint Martins College in London, and graduated in Industrial Design/ Textile Design with a special distinction: the Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award 2004. 7 years as textile designer in the design team of SAHCO followed and another 5 years as the responsible Creative Director of the international Textile-Editeur. Since 2016 Pascal Walter has been working as a freelance designer, stylist and creative director in Hanover in his own design studio for various international clients. For the studio of Ulf Moritz, whom he describes as his mentor after 20 years of intensive work, he still works on a project-related basis and has taught applied textile design in theory and practice at the Kunsthochschule Kassel in recent years. As of 2017 Pascal Walter has been responsible for the conception and implementation of the annual trend show #remarkable in Munich.
Pascal has enriched the committee of experts for the Sustained Color No. 5 with his extensive expertise and fine feeling for color and trends and we look forward to further collaboration.
