Kristina Meyer

After a three-month internship in San Francisco and a one-year stay abroad in Annecy France, Kristina Meyer studied product design at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. After her studies she worked for "simple" in Cologne and designed trade fair booths, interactive brand worlds and exhibitions. In 2001, she moved to Röhr Bush in East Westphalia, where she was responsible for the design of children's and teenagers' rooms as well as home furniture. There she became acquainted with the East Westphalian furniture market and started her own design studio byform productdesign in 2003. Privately, she moved back to Cologne in 2005 and since 2006 she has complemented the office with her fellow student Thorsten Rosenstengel from Bielefeld. With him, the contacts in the kitchen and supplier industry are expanding. byform works successfully for various customers, including Ballerina Küchen, Häfele, Titus, Schüco Alu Competence, Metakor, Lehmann, Nolte, Röhr Bush, ... . The awards of the last two years include the Red Dot Productdesign Award 2018 and Red Dot Productdesign Award 2019, the German Design Award 2018 and the German Innovation Award 2019.
